The hospital has a surgery suite and equipment to ensure sterility of surgical instruments, an x-ray unit, an anesthetic machine, oxygen delivery, fluid pumps for administering intravenous fluids, equipment for dental treatment including dental x-ray, and laboratory equipment for analyzing blood samples when pets are ill and need prompt medical treatment. Patient housing is located such that staff can keep an eye on sick patients from the treatment room. The hospital is equipped with four networked computers to ensure that paperwork can be processed quickly, so that our patients and their owners don’t have to wait very long. The staff also uses the computers to communicate with pet owners by email, control inventory so that we don’t run out of supplies unexpectedly, and participate in veterinary continuing education programs over the Internet. We hope that this website will further our ability to provide the services our patients and their owners need.
